Stopping Smoking Can Actually Be Easy!

Contrary to popular opinion, it really is easy to become a non-smoker. And it does not mean that it will inevitably mean gaining weight. It is very common to lose weight at the same time.

If you’re a smoker who has tried to kick the habit many times, you are probably laughing or feeling annoyed - but keep reading, because I’ve done it. And I’ve helped countless people do it as well.

It has to do with the difference between
               being a non-smoker vs. an ex-smoker

An ex-smoker often struggles horrendously, only to see their attempts go up in smoke, time and time again. It usually involves symptoms that make it feel like it just isn’t worth it - weight gain, nervousness, and horrendous cravings.

Becoming a ex-smoker is one of the hardest challenges anyone can face. This habit can be so deeply ingrained it can feel impossible to even think about stopping, and the withdrawal from the chemical addiction, coupled with the mood swings that accompany it, can be unbearable. It can even cause the people in their lives to wish they’d just start smoking again!

Becoming a non-smoker is quite a different story. No withdrawal, no cravings, no internal fights, no mood swings. You simply don’t smoke. In fact, it’s hard to imagine that you ever did, because it seems absolutely unthinkable. It’s as if you never smoked at all.

Even more unbelievably, becoming a non-smoker is fun when you do it this way. And it comes with an almost limitless list of unexpected side benefits that I will bet that you never thought were related to getting rid the tobacco habit: losing instead of gaining weight, stress reduction, and learning acceleration, just to name a few.

By now you probably think I have lost my marbles, but  tens of thousands of people can attest to this.

If you want to become a non-smoker, just imagine: doing it without the agonizing attempts to stop cold turkey. No more patches, gum or vapor. No more figuring out where and when you can have your next smoke, no more trying to get rid of the smell, no more secretly feeling ashamed, and no more wasted money!

You can make this life-saving change simply and effortlessly. The only requirement is to WANT to become a non-smoker.

Sound too good to be true?

What if it isn’t?

What if it actually can be enjoyable and fun?

You can have the healthy, happy life you’ve always dreamed of, and it is easier than you ever thought possible.

Your friends and family will love it too!

If you’re finally ready to say good-bye to the expense, smell, inconvenience, and poor health that cigarettes bring with them, call me for a no strings, free consultation.

You will be well on your way to freedom from tobacco and nicotine, while you relax and take a 20 minute break that will probably not be like anything you have ever experienced.

I can work with you by phone or in person.

Afterwards, If you want to experience that wonderful feeling of freedom and calm again, you can do that for far less than you are spending right now, keeping the habit going.

If you don’t, that’s fine. I live in Vegas, and it’s a gamble I’m willing to take. The least you will receive is 20 minutes of relaxation. And me? Its what I do, and I love introducing people to this incredible gift. What you do with it afterwards is purely up to you!

                     Wiping Out Stress

The stress in our world is on an unprecedented level today. This "Super-Stress" is pervasive in the high-tech, fast-paced world we're living in.

A staggering 44% of Americans report they have more stress today than they did 5 years ago, with one in five reporting "extreme stress" with symptoms such as heart palpitations, shaking and depression (from www.stress.org).

The effects of stress on our health, productivity, and quality of life are more devastating than most people want to admit or even think about, making stress reduction a necessity in most people's lives.

Stress is the cause of 60% of the illnesses that we suffer today and it increases the risk of heart disease, stroke and heart attacks.

It is the primary contributor to the epidemics of obesity, accelerated aging, high blood pressure, gastro-intestinal disorders, diabetes, anxiety, and insomnia – all of which are exploding in America today.

Stopping the ravages of stress is the #1 way to attain brilliant good health in your mind and body, so that you can create the life you've always wanted.

Super-Stress can even change the very structure of your brain, creating panic attacks, phobias, chemical dependency and eating disorders. Experiencing these things can be frightening and even life threatening.

Luckily, there are solutions, and a lot of them!

You can regain control, and let your fears, frustrations and anxiety fade away. There are safe, natural solution to combat the effects of Super-Stress on our bodies—and I will be talking about some of them in this blog in the weeks and months ahead, so stay tuned.

You will learn new techniques and tools, in order to release tension and negative thoughts, reduce uncertainty and doubt, make peace with your past, and create a stress free body and mind.

The first tool I want to talk about is Visualization. This will provide a roadmap to stress-free living. With a new self image, you are well on your way to letting go of stress, so that you  gain control of your life, your health, and your energy.

Have you seen that red button in Staples that says "That was Easy?"

As simple as it might sound, simply visualizing yourself as the healthy, happy, optimistic, relaxed and confidant person that you'd probably like to be! It's one of the most powerful ways to make that happen!

Can we really change our lives so easily, by simply using the power of our own minds? Yes!

An article was published in Women’s Health 2012, where the author talks about the power of the mind and how it can affect our physical bodies.

The main point of the article was that if you believe a treatment or a medication will work, in most instances,
it does. Your mind can actually create physical changes in your body—easily, naturally, and without side effects.

One example is a study that was done on St. John’s Wort versus Zoloft. The researchers discovered that both treatments eased symptoms in patients at about the same rate, but the astonishing thing was that a placebo beat both of them by more than 8%!

Why? Because the brain's job is to solve problems. The expectation that something can work can actually trigger the brain to solve the problem on its own. Your body has its own pharmacy, right inside your brain, ready to solve whatever it is presented with.

This makes it possible to let go of the destructive effects of stress, maintain a positive attitude, an open mind, and a new self image, so that you can allow yourself to believe in the power of your own mind, and it's ability to create huge changes in your life! And you may be surprised at how easy it can be.

Got flu? Or don't want it? Here are 4 Tips from Mother Nature

These are so easy, and so effective!

Here are 4 natural and powerful ways to keep it at bay, or speed your recovery & alleviate your symptoms:

!. Eat easily digestable foods like soups & cooked vegetables, especially with garlic & onions to help boost the immune system.

2.Vitamin C (1000 mg, 3 or 4 times a day) and Zinc (50-100mg), especially at the first sign of illness.

3.Peppermint & frankincense essential oils on the chest and bottoms of the feet, to fight bacterias and viruses.

4. Hot water with lemon, honey & cinnamon to prevent mucus buildup & keep you hydrated.

You're welcome, Mother Nature

If you've ever taken a deep breath of lavender, or a rose, and felt a wonderful physical and emotional response, you’ve experienced one of the powerful qualities of essential oils. They're safe, effective, fast, and inexpensive.

This 4 minute video shows why (and it isn't selling anything).

A Great Way to Deal with Daylight Savings Time

This weekend we once again lose a precious hour of sleep going to Daylight Savings Time. For many people this can even mean a long time feeling like you're missing an integral part of your sleep cycle.
Research has found that most people never really adjust their circadian rhythms to this hour shift in time. The adverse effects of losing an hour of sleep are associated with memory loss, cognitive impairment, decreased alertness, and increased injury. The switch to Daylight Savings time affects some people so significantly, one 2012 study found that the rate of heart attacks increase by 10% on the Monday and Tuesday following this time change.
My strategy, and one that I strongly encourage, is Dr. Patrick Porter's Insomnia audio series including sessions such as "Sleep Deep and Awaken Recharged" which helps you fall asleep naturally and easily, and "Making Peace with Your Body for Deep, Restful Sleep."
